Being let down by those who were supposed to protect me has defined the fabric of my existence for as long as I can remember. Even when I tried my hardest to fight back, nobody was there to hear my cries. Even when the abuse was happening right in front of their eyes and they wouldn’t have had to only trust my words, they still ended up doing nothing. And what about those, around ten years later, who could have aided me enough that I wouldn’t have had to get this sick? I guess they only saw the same as the other protectors, which was a lying little Kid who only wanted others to feel pity for her.
