I have decided to focus most of my attention to growing my platform on YouTube since the multitude of issues I have faced on Instagram. This page offers you a concise introduction to the channel, the types of content I make on YouTube, and what you can expect from the project in long-form videos.

  • DOAP’s YouTube channel is for long-form content, since I feel like that is the most suitable content type for the project and its message. I have a lot of plans for YouTube, but as of right now, these are the kinds of content you can most definitely expect:

    🍓 SPEEDPAINTS WITH VOICEOVER COMMENTARY. This is the bread and butter of the channel, meaning most of the videos posted on there will follow this format. Commentary will include everything that is related to bullying, mental health, art, disability & children’s rights activism.

    🍓 SKETCHBOOK TOURS. In these videos, I flip through my old sketchbooks, offering you a glimpse into my creative process and way of conceptualizing new illustrations—maybe even with a hint of fanart!

    🍓 MONTHLY Q&A VIDEOS. Since the beginning of DOAP, I have hosted Monthly Q&A’s on my Instagram. Now, they are migrating to YouTube, in video format. Ask me anything you want to know at the beginning of each month, and watch me reply to your questions on YouTube!

  • I am not abandoning Instagram because I’m focusing more on YouTube. Instagram will always be an important part of DOAP, since that is where everything started. I will simply change the frequency in which I post on the platform, how much time I spend planning and composing new Instagram content. I suggest you keep tabs on Instagram as normal, but don’t forget YouTube!

  • As of right now, new CHAPTER illustrations are posted as speedpaints on YouTube with an additional commentary voiceover. In the future, I might end up creating videos where we dive deeper into each completed CHAPTER, reading the articles together and things like that!
